With over four decades of extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, my career encompasses significant roles at prominent companies such as Ameritech/AT&T, Nortel, and Avaya. My expertise spans a broad spectrum of functions including ITAS Support, Tier 3 Support, Installation, Maintenance, and Business Partner Operations. During my tenure at AT&T, I was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the communications systems for critical infrastructures, including a nuclear power plant, a healthcare call center, and a large manufacturing facility. My responsibilities covered the gamut from daily operational management to overseeing significant infrastructural changes and ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of PBX systems.
My professional journey further evolved through my engagements with PBX manufacturers, Nortel and Avaya, where I gained invaluable insights and mastered the skills necessary to provide the highest levels of technical support. This experience honed my expertise in navigating complex processes and adhering to rigorous procedures. Serving as a Tier 3 Support Engineer for Avaya IP Office, I played a pivotal role in supporting Avaya Business Partners, tackling critical issues ranging from initial installations and concept-to-cut-over testing to on-site support, routine maintenance, emergency interventions, and managing various system modifications.
Moreover, I possess comprehensive knowledge and experience in executing migrations from CM Aura and Nortel systems to Avaya IP Office platforms, showcasing my adaptability and proficiency in navigating the evolving telecommunications landscape.
